In Greek mythology, Apollo was the god of medicine, healing and light. The IntegenX Apollo family of products will give ‘sample-to-answer solutions’ performance in many life science applications.

Our vision is to create sophisticated devices—using elegantly simple microfluidic valves, pumps and circuits in glass and plastic—that streamline the analysis of biological materials and overcome many limitations of previous methods. Our goal is to lead the market in agile and efficient automation of the complex workflows that encumber current sample-to-answer methods. We aim to become the leading provider of integrated microsample preparation and analysis systems for the life sciences.

Sample-to-Answer Solutions
Our emphasis on the DNA sequencing market led to the initial development of our Apollo family of instruments—easy-to-use, fully-automated, high-performance platforms that reduce reagent costs and improve analytic efficiencies while using only the tiniest amounts of sample. Our patented MOVe™ chip technology combines microfluidics and paramagnetic bead technology to provide a novel and elegant solution to the challenges of mixing nanoliter volumes effectively and matching large volume samples to the very small input levels required by state-of-the-art instrumentation. Magnetic bead technology enables purification and concentration of samples in a single step for use in microdevices within a microfluidics platform. This synergy has the potential to advance next-generation sequencing beyond genomes. Future Apollo platforms will serve today’s laboratories while providing emerging markets with compact, automated devices for life science applications in forensics, medical research and diagnostics.
