Sales Representative, Western Region

Responsible for developing and closing new prospects, and following up with existing customers to increase sales of IntegenX instruments and cartridges. The sales representative will identify key decision makers for purchasing the products, as well as identify funding sources, buying process, and key influencers within the assigned territory.  The sales representative will need to bring key decision makers together, inspire a vision of what the IntegenX solution provides, make rapid DNA testing a priority in the targeted sales area, and represent the product professionally.  The sales representative will perform a variety of tasks including presentation of the product, help source funding via tenders and grants typically in excess of $1million.  The high level selling position necessitates customer facing time of ~75% of time, with balance of time making appointments, planning territory based tactics and monthly reporting.  The sales representative will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish sales goals for the assigned territory.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strong capital equipment sales experience to meet or exceed assigned sales quota of IntegenX products within territory
  • Develops, implements and manages sales activities to maximize sales of assigned products
  • Communicates territory status through regular organized meetings, written communications and telephone contact
  • Develops and tracks performance goals for the assigned territory and effectively addresses and resolves issues
  • Communicates regularly with Marketing colleagues regarding product performance and activities
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
  • Attends company sales and marketing meetings as required
  • Facilitates resolution of customer issues by demonstrating a strong broad base of knowledge in business processes, IntegenX products and domain expertise
  • Maintains technical competence on IntegenX products, competitive products and the marketplace through extensive reading and attendance of training meetings, industry conferences and research
  • Works with Marketing team to identify and document target customer needs and product configuration implementation strategies

Job Skills

  • Proven capital equipment sales experience in biometrics arena, purchase point of $1 million
  • Experience selling in publically funded markets, such as State and Federal government, involving numerous call points
  • Selling AFIS, RapidDNA profile, Facial Recognition or other biometrics technology
  • Possess strong time management skills to effectively manage and direct projects supporting business objectives
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in setting and articulation clear goals, managing people, processes, and driving results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years plus of experience directly managing order processing/customer service
  • Experience with Sales Force

Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manual assembly of components and manual dispensing of reagents

Data Scientist

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead optimization of the signal process pipeline from all aspects

Scientist

Primary Role (back to Current Openings)

Works within the lntegenX R&D organization to develop whole systems. Prepares experimental plans and reports data which characterize and optimize system performance. Confinns product works to spec as required in the System Specification by performing system verification testing. Confirms product fulfills the requirements of the Customer Requirement Document (CRD) by doing product and process validation, performs end to end testing of processes prior to commercial sign off. Responsible for system documentation such as test work instructions and technology review presentations. Works closely with the operation development, system integration, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition of product and process through the feasibility, development and commercial phases of the Product Development Process (PDP).

  • Prepare experimental plans and prepare/present data in coordination with the project technical lead and line manager.
  • Prepare Verification & Validation Test documentation in coordination with technical lead and line manager.
  • Conduct bench and breadboard experiments to define system specifications.
  • System Integration; operate new breadboard and prototype systems in coordination with the engineering and system integration teams.
  • Contribute functional parts to the system. These may be script, fluidic, process, reagent or operational.
  • Conduct breadboard and prototype experiments to characterize and optimize system performance.

  • Conducts system verification test for performance, reliability, robustness an stability.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years working in system integration and reagent development or commensurate education (Ph.D. or MS)
  • Complete understanding of the PDP cycle, phases and requirements
  • Experience in preparing and presenting technical materials in written and verbal form

Research Associate

Primary Responsibilities (back to Current Openings)

  • Prior industrial experience, particularly in RNA and DNA purification and quantitation, PCR, qPCR, sequencing and capillary electrophoresis. Experience with human identification (HID) techniques is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Molecular Biology, chemistry or equivalent disciplines with 1-5 years of industry experience.
